Cash to Serve

Statistics related to this group provide detailed information on cash flows within the supply chain during any Simulation type of experiment for the specified Scenario. Use the Cash Accounts and Payment Terms tables to define the input data.

Account Payable

Shows statistics on the cash that the account owner owes to the supplier(s) or facilities. The values depicted here are calculated as the cost of the demanded amount of products less the down payment amount.

The data is:

  • Updated each time a demand received from a supplier is unloaded.
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.

Account Receivable

Shows statistics on the cash that the account owner expects to receive from the facilities or customers the products were sold to.

Cash

Shows statistics on the cash that the account owner has on hand. The amount of cash can't be negative. Once an account lacks funds, it takes a loan.

The data is:

  • Updated each time the demanded amount of products is purchased from the supplier/delivered to the facility or customer that placed an order.
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.

Cash less Interest

Shows statistics on the amount of cash on hand less the interest that must be paid. The values may be negative when the interest accumulates (not being paid for some time).

The data is:

  • Updated each time the account receives, spends cash, or when the loan interest is accumulating (not paid for certain time).
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.

Cash less Loan

Shows statistics on the amount of funds the cash account owner lacks to operate on its own without taking loans, i.e., the amount of cash on hand less the taken loan.

The data is:

  • Updated each time the account receives, spends cash, or when the loan interest is accumulating (not paid for certain time).
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.

Cash less Loan with Interest

Shows statistics on the amount of funds the cash account would have if no loan had been taken and no interest on the loan had been paid. The value is calculated as the amount of cash on hand less the taken loan and less the interest to pay.

The data is:

  • Updated each time the cash is received or spent.
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.

Interest

Shows statistics on the change of interest on the loan the cash account owner has to pay. The value shown depends on whether the data will be shown as Accumulative or Daily type:

  • If it is of accumulating type — the interest to pay on daily basis is shown.
E.g. if the loan interest rate is 10%, this statistic will show 10% per day (the equivalent of 10% in the currency used within the scenario). If the interest rate drops to 8%, this statistic will show 8% per day (in scenario currency).
  • If it is of daily type — the change of interest to pay is shown.
e.g. if the loan interest rate drops from 10% to 8%, the change of minus 2% will be shown (in scenario currency).

The data is:

  • Updated at the end of each day.
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.

Loan

Shows statistics on the amount of funds received with each loan.

The data is:

  • Updated each time a loan is taken or returned.
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.

Loan with Interest

Shows statistics on the amount of funds received with each loan, and the interest to pay.

The data is:

  • Updated each time a loan is taken, loan is returned, or interest is paid.
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.

Total Interest Paid

Shows statistics on the sum of all the interests paid during the simulation time. This statistic show accumulative type of data.

The data is:

  • Updated at the end of each day.
  • Collected per:
    • Account — the cash account of the facility (DC, Factory) the data is collected on.
    • Period — the period, for which the data is calculated.
