Scenarios Section

The scenario section allows you to browse and edit the existing scenarios, create new ones, or import ALX example of the corresponding type. 

The section consists of:
  1. Scenario type tabs.
  2. List of open scenarios (per tab).
  3. Controls.

Scenario type tabs

The type of a scenario (and example that you can import) refers to the type of the experiment (see Experiments section) you will be able to run. The number next to the tab name indicates the number of open scenarios.

GFA - the Greenfield Analysis scenario. The experiments of this type use scenario data to find optimal locations for the supply chain sites:

NO - the Network Optimization scenario. The Network Optimization experiment uses scenario data to finds exact locations and form sourcing policies.

SIM - the Simulation scenario. The experiments of this type use scenario data to model the actual products delivery on the GIS map with detailed statistics generated real-time:

TO - the Transportation Optimization scenario. The experiments of this type use scenario data to optimize the cost of delivering products from a site to the customers it services:

List of scenarios

The list contains open scenarios per type tab. You can edit scenario properties switch between tabs, scenarios within those tabs and convert scenario from one type to another

Controls

The bottom section contains three controls (click buttons below for more details):

Opens the dialog box, allowing you to create a new scenario.

Opens the dialog box, allowing you to import a scenario.

(available if there is no scenarios in this type tab) Opens the dialog box, allowing you to import ALX example.
