Exporting Scenario Data

To export scenario data to MS Excel file

  1. You may open the Export Scenario dialog by doing either of the following:

  2. Select the scenario, that you want to export from the Select scenario to export drop-down.

    Note: if you right-click the scenario to export it, the Select scenario will automatically offer the required scenario to export.

  3. By default scenario is exported to the User profile folder. If requried you can specify a custom folder by clicking the  Browse button to the right of the Select file field.
  4. In the opened window select the destination and specify the file name that the scenario data should be saved to.
  5. Click Save to save the changes and close the window. The pop-up dialog box will now contain full address to the specified file with its name.
  6. Click the Export experiments toggle button if you do not wish to export the experiments of the scenario.
  7. Click the Export external tables toggle button if you do not wish to export the external tables of the scenario.
  8. Click the Export empty tables toggle button if you do not wish to export the empty tables of the scenario into the MS excel file.
  9. Click the Open exported file option if you want the exporting file to be automatically opened once you export it.
  10. Click OK.

    Note: If you are exporting to an existing file, you will see a warning message, prompting you to confirm your action.
    If you wish to proceed and overwrite the specified file click OK, otherwise click Cancel.

The exported file will contain the worksheets corresponding to the ALX data tables as well as the scenario data.

To export table data to MS Excel file<
  1. Navigate to the table you want to export.
  2. Select any cell by clicking it, then press Ctrl+A to select all cells.
  3. Press Ctrl+C to copy data values.
  4. Create or open the MS Excel file you want to import the table data to.
  5. Press Ctrl+V to paste data values.
To export a statistics tab from experiment results
  1. Right-click the results tab. A pop-up menu will appear.

  2. Click the Export to excel option. A pop-up dialog box will open prompting to specify the file to export the data to.

  3. Click the  Browse... button to the right of the Select file field to navigate to the file that you want to save the experiment results to.
  4. In the opened window select the destination and specify the file name that the results should be saved to.
  5. Click Save to confirm the changes and close the window. The pop-up dialog box will now contain full address to the specified file with its name.
  6. Click OK to export the data.

    Note: If you are exporting to an existing file, you will see a warning message, prompting you to confirm your action.
    If you wish to proceed and overwrite the specified file click OK, otherwise click Cancel.

  7. Once the export is completed, a dialog box will pop-up asking if you would like to instantly open the file that you have just exported the data to.
